The Equalizer

Columbia Pictures will bring the movie The Equalizer to Mexican theaters starting on Thursday, September 25. Which is based on a television series from the 80s of the same name that is adapted to the current era? Denzel Washington stars as an ex-commando named Robert McCall and next to him appears Chloë Grace Moretz as Teri. The film is directed by Antoine Fuqua who worked with Washington in the well-received film of the 2001 Training Day.

 

The story of this movie starts very normally. McCall leads a quiet life, drinks coffee and reads after his work activities, with excellent rhythm. You will get to know this character who even dances in funny moments. He is a very pacifist person who helps his friends as the case of Ralphie (Johnny Skourtis). Who wants to be a security guard and is a bit overweight. As expected, the days pass and he establishes a friendship with Teri whose real name is Alina, a young Russian woman exploited by the mafia. Everything seems to go through a cycle (he works, he drinks his coffee, Teri waits for calls from customers like every day and he's ready, "all happy"). Until one day he discovers that something is not right. McCall sees that there is abuse with innocent people. He fixes it by hook or by crook.
