Denzel Washington returns to one of his iconic roles in the first sequel to his career and does it with more action and fury.

Time after the events of the first delivery, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) continues to do justice by his own hand. In spite of continuing in the anonymity of his presumed death. But a blow that affects an old friend of McCall. Involves him to leave a little of that anonymity and exercise justice in a more personal environment.

Unlike its predecessor, this story becomes more personal in McCall and his small circle of people around him. This works to give it more drama in the continuation of the history of the new franchise. Although it turns out to be on the same level as the first and nothing new. But despite its good and bad points, and especially the plot twist. The film achieves its most important goal, be entertaining.

At the acting level, Denzel Washington, with an obvious reason, is the center of attention. Where he repeats a role and raises it a little more due to the circumstances that lead him throughout the film. Harry Gregson returns to compose the musical arrangements in the film and is as flat as his first work despite his long experience in a hundred projects as a composer. So his work makes the company to the peak moments of action.

"Equalizer 2" is a film that suffers from an identity in which justice and revenge fall into absurdities. But give the perfect excuse to see Denzel Washington in an action role kicking ass in robust and serious action sequences.
